A sampling of the Marquise Invitational Auction 2017 lots were shown at the Sahara Scottsdale farm tours at their New Years Eve presentation. They were well received by the large crowd that attended the New Year’s eve event. The first of the horses shown was MIRAGE MTC (Baha AA x RD Alotta Ambition). This ultra-confident and dynamic yearling filly entertained the spectators as she playfully bounced around with her tail flagged and showing off her incredibly shaped neck. Next up was the Gemini Acres’ consignment, ARIANNA CS. This striking bay four year old mare is by JJ Bellagio and out of the great Duchess of Marwan. The Equadorian National Champion Mare, ANASTASIAA (ATA Bey Starr x Showgirl SP) was next in. She showed great pose and charisma both in hand and free and was surely a crowd pleaser. She was joined by her elegant US National daughter, MD Hibat Allah (by DA Valentino) herself a former National Champion Mare in Equador and one of three National Champion Mares that make up the Breeder’s Dream Embryo Collection. She and her dam were an impressive pair when nosed up to each other. There is nothing prettier than a grey mare under lights and the exquisite OULA ALJASSIMIYA was proof of that. She put on quite a show with her flowing white mane and tail and beautiful movement. Wrapping up the Marquise representatives was the North Arabians’ consignment, JAMAICA NA. She is a stunningly beautiful and showy daughter of the Champion Maker, WH Justice and out of the Falcon BHF daughter, Falcons Lovenote BHF. This two year old is destined for greatness with her beauty, style and gifted movement.
